[FWDLK] Garlick's Plodge in Hemmings

Here's the e-mail I recently received from Hemmings Classic
Car about the 1961 Plodge:

Roger,

For the record, I did in fact reply to your first e-mail
shortly after you sent it. To quickly rehash what I stated,
we will NOT be featuring Paul Garlick's "D-500" in Hemmings
Classic Car magazine due to its suspicious history. Paul did
admit that the car was actually delivered to a dealer in
Pittsburgh, so it can't be a "Canadian" model. We are quite
angry about this mess as we have nearly $2,000 invested in
this story to date. But we would rather write off the
expense than feature a bogus car, which we believe is what
Paul has "created."
