I remember an article about 2 Furies that were not switched to carbs. It stated that one went to Mexico after a long life in the states and I don't recall what happened to the other. The man who bought  the one that went to Mexico had an in at Chrysler and got a lot of FI parts from them.

AFAIK, all the '58 fuel injection units were recalled, DeSoto, Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth.

As far as I know, all of the fuel injected 58 Furys were recalled by the factory due to technical difficulties, and were replaced with dual four carburettors. (Of course, someone will no doubt put one together one day, and call it "the only survivor". Maybe they will paint the car red too!)
There is however a magnificently restored 58 Desoto Adventurer Convertible with fuel injection owned by Tom White.
