[FWDLK] 1959 Plymouth Observations

I took my 1959 Plymouth station wagon out for its first long ride today
(2 degrees this morning) to get a new transmission seal installed.
Some observations: The dash-mounted rear view mirror is next to
useless. Does someone know of a fix for it? Maybe a second, roof
mounted mirror to be removed at a car show? Also, the power steering is
way too sensitive at anything over 5 mph. Any fix to get a better road
"feel?"

And the fender mounted rearview mirrors sure have limited usefullness.
Suspect I will have to live with them.
