Doing it your self is not a good way to go. it can  be done, but rarely 
correctly. If nothing else,  you want all your wires the right gauge, 
with the right ends, and neatly routed in a proper harness. Homemade is 
nearly always a juryrig.

A better way to go is to contact Gregg Leggatt, 613-354-2712. If he 
makes your harness, it is better than NOS. Bite the bullet and see how 
easy and painless it is to install a correct looking harness and have 
all the connectors sitting right where you need them.

He's been making these harnesses for years and he's a great guy.
