Good honest sellers usually will tell you ahead of time,I've been burned on
handling too,now I ask.When I sell things I charge actual shipping,I state it
right in the terms and conditions.I only charge handling for out of US buyers($5
or $10 ) because of multiple trips to the post office for costs and the customs
forms and all of that fun stuff.
