[FWDLK] Barrett Jackson Auction Comments

Let's realize that shill bidding is perfectly legal in most states and it is no mistake on the auction companies part that the biggest auctions and auction companies are held and housed in states that allow shill bidding.
One thing at B-J regarding the possibility of "buying your own car back" is that it can happen with any car at the very end of the day at any no-reserve auction because the bidders are tired and go home.  It pays to pay for one of the better time slots.  If the bidders aren't vocal in the good time slots, you have a bad car.
Regarding the auction fees, that slides at B-J depending on the selling price.  As the price goes up, the fee drops some.  The sales tax portion (approx 8% in Scottsdale) is unavoidable at any public auction in any state.  It must be paid there rather than at your home state just as if you were buying at a new or used car dealership.
