I can provide lotsa pics of 57-58 O.E.M. Dodges, showing the front
carpet section over-lapping the rear section, with NO selvage-
wrapping, on the cut-edge on the front section.

IIRC, there is a selvage in the area where the carpet abuts to/around
the quarter inner-trim panel.

And 57  CRL Dodges had relatively gossly-tufted CUT-pile carpeting, not
"loop" pile carpeting.
