Re: [FWDLK] Car Buying Scams!

As someone else stated, have the bank check it out.

One of the most common car buying scams is to send a cashier's check for
more than the amount of the car and have you send them the difference, or
pay it to a "shipping agent" which is usually a dummy address they provide.

They may not even come get your car, but you end up responsible to return
all of the funds to the bank regardless.

Suburban and started it offering it up for sale. There was 2 potential
buyers that would write to me back to back and they happened to use the same
style of writting. 1 of them has sent me a check over my asking price and I
was wondering if I should be weary? Anyone have any advice?
