Re: [FWDLK] Chrysler's Walter P. Chrysler versions

I've seen at least a couple "Walter P Chrysler" series cars cruising the roads here in Ohio...so yes, they do exist here in the states as well.

I?m sorry I can not translate that web site for you. Well, I CAN, brain-wise speaking, but that would take far too much time.

Here in The Netherlands Chrysler offers several of their models as the so-called Walter P. Chrysler Series, meaning that for an extra payment you?ll get a load of extra options for only a fraction of the normal MSRP. Plus the unique badge with the signature of Chrysler?s founder, Walter P. Chrysler.

I?d say that this would be (have been) available in the US too. Most people here don?t know who WPC is.

Anyway, I made use of the possibility to reply to this Dutch news, by asking for a Virgil M. Exner Series, whom as we all know is the founding designer of the Forwardlook.

Jim Hoekendijk.

See for yourself at the Dutch Chrysler site, at:

Since it?s possible to give a reply to that. I have replied that as soon as there is going to be a Virgil M. Exner  version, I will buy it blindfolded!!

I will let you know Chrysler?s answer.
