[FWDLK] clock removal

Hello all...On my 57 Plymouth I am removing the clock but have run into some difficulty..

The clock head was removed but the cable that adjusts it will not cooperate...

On the clock end the cable has a treaded collar and I loosened that back but the cable will not remove from the clock....

I also removed the set allen screw on the knob end but am unable to free the knob from the shaft...Ideas?
