Re: [FWDLK] WHATZIT WORTH?

It's a Custom Coro in a very unusual (surviving)
paint scheme, in a very rare (surviving) body style, and a D500
(originally), and is structurally sound, and relatively complete..

That's the good news.

No engine/trans; needs everything, to some extent, to be done to it.

Is the headliner, (and visors) intact?

Without the original engine (D500's do show up
on occasion): no more than $1,250.00 , as-is.

Good/interesting project, but it'll take years to complete, if you can
maintain the motivation and financing to complete it.

At about a grand, you could protect the remains from further degradation
and probably turn a profit on it, a couple years from now.

If you are not equiped to restore the car diligently, or to dry-store
it, then the seller probably wants your money more than you
need that car.

PowerFlites were rarely offered with D500's, but, as the D500 was an
engine option, only,
a customer could have ordered a P/F with a D500----never seen one,
though.

Not 48 hours after my 57 went bye-bye to it's former owner, I find out about another. I'm not sure I want to pursue this one, but if it can be had cheap enough. I will send 3 pictures, one per email. Too big for 3 in 1.

Coronet 4 door hardtop, originally D500, torqueflite (did they ever put a powerflite behind the D500?)

D500 engine and tranny were removed, It's pretty much complete from there. Actually as "rough" as it looks, it's pretty solid. Floors and trunk appear to be solid, and not patched. Chrome is good, but not great. Trim seems to be pretty good. Didn't see exhaust deflectors anywhere. Rockers are the worst part.

Any clues as to what would be a fair price? I"m attaching a picture, so I hope y'all can see it. I'm 75% sure I'm passing but if anyone would want this, I will work out contacts for you. Just email me off-list.
