[FWDLK] Setting Timing -- The easy way....

Folks...

Since I am not an engineer....

I set timing by connecting a vacuum gauge to the engine -- adjust distributor to get maximum vacuum, then retard the spark setting so that vacuum drops about 3/4 psi... My cars purrrrrrrrrrrrr and have plenty of power. No need to pull plugs, pull straws out of brooms, set up timing lights, worry about what may have happened to harmonic balancer, etc.

Am I doing something wrong??

Jim
