Krasl Concours on the Bluff
707 Lake Boulevard Saint Joseph, MI 49085 269-983-0271 Concours 2011: Saturday August 13 Concours 2012: Saturday August 4 Concours 2013: Saturday August 3 Saturday, August 13, 2011 - 10am - 4pm $5 per person, $10 for family with children ages 16 and younger The annual Krasl Art Center Concours is on the Bluff in St. Joseph Lake Bluff Park across the street from the Krasl Art Center, with over 80 cars and commercial vehicles between 1900 and 1976 on display, all correctly restored, with several extremely rare and unusual. The Concours exhibit opens at 10am with Passes In Review at 12 noon, 1:30pm and 3pm. All entries will be examined by experienced judges and a total of 14 hand-blown glass trophies, including Best of Show and People's Choice, will be presented following the final Pass In Review. Featured Vehicles: Chrysler production and concept cars from 1950 - 1962, plus woodys, micro/minicars; British sports cars. Friday Evening: 6:30 - 8:00pm - Concours Welcoming Reception: open to the public. $40. Rub shoulders with vehicle owners and featured designer Virgil Exner, Jr. of South Bend, Indiana.
