Re: [FWDLK] Need LH Exhaust Manifold for 57 Desoto 325 - 1634445

To summarize the answers to questions that folks on the list have asked about this car:
  • It is a 57 Firesweep Sportsman 2DRHT, coral pink. Absolutely straight and zero rust. Paint massively faded and upholstery needs replacing.
  • Engine is the original 325 4bbl. Pretty nifty/unique tailpipe hookup to the oval exhaust ports at the base of the fins.
  • I don't know exactly where in North Dakota it came from. It has ND plates, last sticker on them is dated 92.
  • Car was delivered months ago. I only got around to putting it up on my new 2-post lift yesterday. Discovered the broken manifold.
  • A friend of the seller transported the car. Lesson learned -- Use a reputable transport company, someone from this list, or go retrieve it yourself.
