Re: Big wheels on old Mopabout

Years ago I walked from the host hotel across the lot to the NSRA Nationals with Boyd.  I asked him at that time if his show accurately depicted what went on in his shop.  His answer was absolutely.  That told me two things.  1. He was a liar because no shop could function with that kind of crap constantly going on, and 2. He sold his soul for the almighty dollar and he was pretty much required to give that answer.  That's why he lost his top painter Charlie and thats probably the main reason why Chip quit and opened his own shop. Chip is a much better person than Boyd ever was.  I don't like all his designs but he is a really nice guy.

I have to agree.  Chip is a really good guy and does a lot for people. Myself I cannot stand Boyd What a Jerk.  I like every body on OVERHAULING

Yep, different strokes.  I have heard negative remarks  about  Chip Foose.  I don't get it.  He is a genious at design  and art work. We may not like some of his idea's, but if you look from a distance,  he is very talented.  He is a big time celebrety in the car world  and gets all the perks that go with it, but I think he is somewhat humble---compared to Boyd Coddington. Anyway!  I think he is not so full of himself as to not talk to common people.  I have read about his sister that has a severe  health issue and the care that he gives her. . I believe he is one of the GOOD GUYS................................MO

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
