RE: IML: Where are Most of the Imperials found Today??

I can back Matt up on one of his 'theories'.

I live in Washington state, and there are quite a few Imperials and
Chryslers in general on the road or otherwise available from the era he
specified (60's through about '93).

There is a guy in north Seattle with three '80s EFI Imperials, I have one,
there's another guy with a sea spray green one in an outlying suburb, and I
know there are a few other members on this list who also live in WA state.

I frequently see Imperials of all vintages "FOR SALE" in the classifieds
for the state as a whole, lots of them on the drier eastern half of the
state. This probably has a lot to do with our relatively mild winters and
the lack of salt use on the roadways here. 1990-93 Imperials are virtually
just as commonly seen here as late '80s/early '90s Fleetwood Broughams.

There's also a few guys locally cruising around in mint-condition late-70's
New Yorker Broughams that I see from time to time (saw a cream-yellow one
yesterday!). The apartment complex across the street has a rare 79/80/81
R-body New Yorker parked there frequently. The apartment complex I lived in
two years ago (three blocks from where I am now) had a 1973 Imperial
LeBaron that belonged to another tenant. I never did find out who the guy
(or girl) was, though.
