IML: Hollow sound

I have been wondering, has anyone who owns a '64 Imperial noticed a hollow 
"ching" sound when they close the front doors, either side? I'm pretty sure 
mine's coming from the pillar, and is almost always commented on by first 
time riders. Any solutions to this low key annoyance?
