RE: IML: Please Welcome Wyatt

Hey thanks for the welcome. And the prior owner put the high rise intake manifold and I wasn't sure what the purpose really is. I just replaced the fuel pump and this site helped a whole lot. I wasn't sure if it was that or the push rod but the push rod is in good shape. I look forward to the restoration of this car.

Hola Wyatt

I want to say welcome to the Imperial Group.  By this time next year you will be an expert on the car, and will be able to hold an one way conversation while on TDY.

Having an new intake on the Imperial is mostly an waste of funds.  The stated advantage of the marketing department is mute when compared to the weight, rpm usage range and etc of the new unit on your car.

Edelbrock 750 Carb and new intake manifold. I plan to restore this car and
make everything black in and out.
