Dave,
        Not only did Pontiac have a little class, but according to my boss, (a
retired Pontiac Engineer) they also had Virgil Exner in the late 30's!  Mike
tells me that old Virgil had his hand in the design of his prized '39 Pontiac
Coupe!

        Too bad for GM that Virgil didn't do his best work until the mid '50's...
