First off, Brandie, thanks for your appreciation of Mr. Finzzz! He promises
to not run you down like his younger sister was prone to do to people. .
..however, I think you may have misconstrued some of the "original vs
customized" comments being left here. My comments were not a slam at
customizers, and I hope nobody thought I was whining about not having one
more $6 trophy.
Rather, I was saying that I won't anymore pay $30 to watch my rare car be
ignored in favor of some guy who just hopped down to the local custom shop
to buy a 6 inch steering wheel, a chrome blower, and brand new chrome
wheels. They can have their show. I'll keep my car, and the people, like
you fine folks on this list, who appreciate my car for what it is - is what
I'll enjoy. That, and of course driving it!! That's assuming I can get the
darned regulator to charge the gen, as that recurring problem has been
cropping up again lately. . .
