Re: [FWDLK] Help with Engine diagnosis?

Greg, I had the same situation with my 56. It turned out to be a partially plugged-up gas line. I discovered this by running a piece rubber gas line from the fuel pump into a can of gas. The car ran OK once I did that. Once I realized what the problem was I blew air back through the gas line and the problem went away. In my case, the problem started after I cleaned a resealed the gas tank. I think the sealer plugged up the output line in the tank.

Hope this helps

The engine on my '61 Imperial starts fine, runs for about 3 minutes, then
diesels and cuts off. Does this sound like spark plug wires?
Would appreciate any ideas on the diagnosis of this one.
Thanks.
