I just wanted to share my experiences. I drive with Firestone WW Radials on my 1956 New Yorker and are very happy with them. They have higher profile than the Coker and much better handeling and treadwear, and you can get them fom your local tirepusher to a low cost The only drawback is the whitewall does not go all the way to the rim, it have a small black gap between the white and the rim. But with a tire with better quality to half the price I can live with that :-)

Have any of you guys experienced that the Coker Radial crack up in the White near the Rim?

I have to agree with Mark.  When I first got my C300 it was equipped with bias-ply WWWs.  I drove it to a car show just over 100 miles from Detroit and I was constantly fighting the steering wheel.  When I replaced the bias-plies with Coker WWW radials, the difference in ride and handling was outstanding!  I still have the bias-plies which I'm willing to sell.  They still have plenty of tread on them and if anyone is interested I'll take a couple of on-the-spot digital pics and e-mail them to you.
