Here's the ad for anyone who's interested.  Note that the ad says "one-of-one."

I first came across his name when I inquired about a 1960 Desoto polar blue convertible.  Of course, no 1960 Desoto convertibles were made, so this one was a custom job.  It has recently appeared on www.traderonline.com  in the Desoto ads for around $47,000.  Apparently, it is for sale in the Orange County area, south of Los Angeles, perhaps with other cars.

Wayne Graefen and I traded emails about it.  Wayne apparently knows Boyd personally, perhaps from previously living in California.  Of course, Wayne is out of the box with his recent operation.

Happy Holidays, Jim

Hello List,
It has been quiet on the List this week, due to Xmas shopping I am sure.
I have been seeing postings of cars for sale by Boyd Coddington. Although his name sounds familiar, do not know who he is. I do not follow racing or customizing of cars.  Would someone please write up a short biography of BC for the List?
