As a kid I could not avoid watching the Lawrence Welk show
with my parents. They felt it important that I should get to know that
"good music" instead of "garbage" rock and roll.
Little did they know that I was LOVING the commercials for
Dodge and putting up with the music!
To be honest, I'd have to admit that part of my interest
in ForwardLook vehicles came from watching those commercials! They were
GREAT!
Did they influence my folks? Well, lets see, they
bought a '58 Chev sedan 6 automatic and a '60 Ford sedan. So, I guess
not!
