Re: [FWDLK] [Chrysler300] A/C cross ram K available

Guys,

This is such a great thread.  Super rare option combinations are so cool - it reminds me of the 300F Special with the Pont-A-Mousson manual transmission.

Wouldn't it be great if you could order something today that would be super unique in decades to come - that's what I think about the current SRT Core models - "Core" is available on Charger and Challenger, but also on 300.  Here's the rub - the 300 Core is by special order only.  Just imagine if today's message was 50 years ago, "Dealers have been warned not to buy an SRT Core 300C a 300F with Pont-A-Mousson for their lots — it’s custom order only."

A cool series of videos would compare this '64 300 with cross ram and A/C with a 2014 300 Core.
See my '58 Windsor 4hdt in my series of YouTube videos "Fifty Years of Chrysler."

By the way, here are the rest of the auction cars - including a variety of ForwardLook cars.

Don,

You are correct of course but that turquoise always looked like light blue to me. And that includes all the time I spent hanging over the front fenders screwing around with my 1963 440 2 drhdt with the 330 hp 383.

Chrysler did use a blue for some engines at sometime and it is most definitely a different, bluer color that would not look right on an engine originally painted turquoise.

That said it is pretty easy to distinguish either from red.
