"Gary Pavlovich" <glpavlovich@xxxxxxx>: Apr 25 12:58PM -0700

What a shame; a waste of good sheet metal; yes, it is a non-Mopar powerplant. It has the classic Chevrolet oil filler tube and GM alternator.

Well, Not necessarily a waste, could switch it back to a Mopar motor and
rear axle. But starting with a 30 K investment... :-(

Yes, not really a waste (my Mopar bias showing), and yes at 30K there is a lot money invested in a cool car that will draw negatives from both camps.

That looks like a Carter 750cfm A4C carburetor by the 9755S part number.

Thanks, Gary.
I went through it and it looks pretty clean. One of the needles sticking

Cool. I'm going to throw it on anyway and see how it runs. Could be an

63 rear axle
Gary Futrell <gary.futrell@xxxxxxxxx>: Apr 25 04:06PM -0500

Got my hub puller in the mail and tried it out on the 63 axle. Not too bad,
came off in about 10 min. On to the axle and pumpkin removal, then see if I
can remove about a 1/16 from the axle.
