Re: [FWDLK] Up the DOWN-side!

I have used the spray-one undercoating before with mixed results.  Tried POR-15 this year for the first time.  Learned quickly that you don't want to get any on your skin or anywhere you don't want it.  Seems hard, but provides no soundproofing.  In the past I have always covered the floors and trunk with spread-on roofing materials from gallon-sized cans with a heavy-duty brush.  Dries hard in a few days (Ohio, not Arizona), and provides rustproofing with superior adhesion and good soundproofing qualities.  Plan on putting it over the POR on my '64 Fury convertible, before the new carpets go down and the newly-skinned seats go back in.  Better interior or exterior than so-called rustproofing materials, for a fraction of the price.
