RE: IML: 1967 Sun-visor swap Info

Hi

I think you saw my '67 convertible. The vissors with lighted mirrors were from a mid 70's full size Lincoln. They were painted with interior paint which was bought at Carsile. To mount them I had to remove the original vissors and seperate the rod from the bracket, then do the same with the Lincoln ones and finnaly secure the Lincoln rods to the Imperial brackets. To wire them I just ran the wires in the windshield posts to a 12 volt source. This is sketchy as this was done over 20 years ago. Hope this helps. I still have the original mounted glove box mirror.

I saw at Carlisle last month a '67 Imperial where the owner had replaced the factory sun-visors with a late model visor that had light-up mirrors. Does anyone know if there is a visor that fits the setup for my '67 correctly? (no modifications or adjustments needed)

Thanks
